  • Anonymous asked: What are the pigs that stay small?

Depends on your definition of small.

Depending on the breed, pigs can range from 50-70 pounds, 80-100, 150-200.

If you’re looking to buy one, I would just look around online and talk to breeders in your area, see how big their piggies usually grow to.

Hope that helps, sorry! It really depends on the area you live in, what’s available.

  • Anonymous asked: gernerally, how much does a mini teacup pig cost? And how big do they get when they are adults?

It really depends on where you buy your pig, but I’ve seen prices as low as $700 and as high as $5000.

As for size, most of them top out between 50-80 pounds. Not that big.

:) If you get one, be sure to send in a picture!!

  • Anonymous asked: how can i get a piglet as a pet?

Depends on where you live, really. You can search online. But also look at the laws around where you live; they may or may not be legal.

  • Anonymous asked: Why are pigs pink?

they aren’t always pink (you’ll see black pigs, spotted pigs, brown pigs), but white pigs will appear pink due to the blood and blood vessels underneath their skin, especially in intense sunlight. This, of course, depends on the breed of pig.
